Frequently Asked Questions
Q. WHAT ARE SOME OF THE ADVANTAGES OF HIRING A STUDIO THAT ALSO WORKS IN PORTRAITURE, COMMERCIAL AND EDITORIAL FIELDS?
A. Photographers that can and do work in all the fields bring with them the expertise of dealing with any photographic situation. Bring in your lighting and posing expertise from portraiture, your quickness and problem solving from commercial work, and your photojournalistic and detail abilities from magazine and celebrity shoots. Working in all of these fields allows you to keep up with all of the newest trends.
Q. WHAT ARE THE ADVANTAGES OF HAVING A PROFESSIONAL, FULL TIME STUDIO VERSUS A PART TIME HOBBIEST PHOTOGRAPH MY WEDDING?
A. Wedding photography is much more than just showing up with a camera and good intentions. To effectively photograph a wedding without large interruptions to the flow of your day and knowing what images the bride will want truly requires a professional wedding photographer. Wedding photography is very different from any other type of photography. It requires much more skill and knowledge in many aspects of photography, including lighting, posing and people skills. The full time studio has the facilities to process the images from your engagement and bridal sessions as well as help you select your albums, wall prints and products from your package. Your wedding is much too important to trust to anyone but a professional studio.
Q. WHAT STYLE OF PHOTOGRAPHY WILL THE PHOTOGRAPHER USE AT MY WEDDING?
A. That’s up to the bride, however we recommend a combination of photojournalistic, bridal party photos, a few traditional shots, some romantic and a bit of artistic detail work. We try to do as much candid and photojournalistic work as possible, if you have a request, just let us know.
Q. HOW WILL I KNOW WHEN AND WHERE TO TAKE MY WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHS WITHOUT LARGE INTERRUPTIONS OF THE WEDDING DAY?
A. The photographers know the best places with the best lighting. We will talk about and plan ahead for the best timeline to get you those stunning shots you’ve always dreamed of having. Our goal is to get the best photographs possible without keeping the bride and groom away from their wedding guests for a long period of time.
Q. HOW MANY PHOTOGRAPHS WILL BE TAKEN AT MY WEDDING?
A. It depends on many factors, including the package you have selected and the size of your wedding. We set no limits to the amount of photographs we take, and always try to accommodate all of your requests.
